Easy Diets

Losing Weight CAN Taste Good

The Paleo Recipe BookSome people say there are no easy diets. Others preach the benefits of styles of eating that shed pounds effectively and easily.

The word “easy” might be a state of mind. A diet that is easy to you could be terrorizing to someone else. An easy diet doesn’t mean ineffective. It simply is a diet that fits naturally into the way we do living.

An easy diet should also work. Our goals should be attainable and sustainable. The PALEO System fits life. We chose the Paleo Recipe Book as one really good system tha merges nicely with most lifestyles and helps develop habits and attitudes that maintain an extremely healthy lifestyle.

We also wanted to promote an effective diet that is proven to work and had plenty of positive reviews. A typical sample of the many reviews about the Paleo Recipe Book is below.

“I absolutely love this cookbook! The recipes are super easy to follow and they are just delicious!! I’m loving this way of healthy eating and within one week I have a noticeable increase in energy. I can’t say enough good about it!!!”
Nancy Powell

Another criterion in our search was that the foods needed for success be normal and easily available. When you choose the Paleo Recipe book the following foods are allowed and not allowed.

Foods that are allowed:

  • Grass-produced meats.
  • Fish/seafood.
  • Fresh fruits and veggies.
  • Eggs.
  • Nuts and seeds.
  • Healthful oils (Olive, walnut, flaxseed, macadamia, avocado, coconut)

Foods that are not allowed.

  • Dairy products.
  • Sugary fruit juice.
  • Soda and other soft drinks.
  • Energy drinks.
  • Grains and legumes.
  • Processed meat.
  • Snack food.
  • Unnaturally salted food.

If you are a fan of breads, cakes and sugar, there will be an initial time of craving, but shortly those cravings will fade into oblivian as they are replaced by the tasty foods of the Paleo system. That transition may take a few days, but the positive, healthy feelings will soon create a refreshing daily change.

Learning and Lifestyle

We are not kidding when we say that in anything and everything, the mind matters most.

Every decision we make, every path we follow, starts in our mind and is initiated by our choice. We are the ones who decide what we do.

Losing weight is only one part of our chosen lifestyle. It’s an important part and is really symptomatic of the concept that “It all starts with food.”

Information produces knowledge and knowledge creates wisdom.

What we don’t know CAN hurt us. Something as natural as what we eat not only pleases our taste buds bu can radically affect our entire being. From hurtful to healthy, food has a profound influence on our daily and long term lives.

Ultimately, the more you know about any situation, the more beneficial will be your decisions within that framework.

Almost by accident our search for food-related decisions led us to an extremely comprehensive and informative book written by Melissa Hartwig and Dallas Hartwig, both of whom are Certified Sports Nutritionists. As we investigated further the importance of what the authors were saying became apparent.

We discovered the book The Whole30: The 30-Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom,
which is a treasure of information about the role of food in our lives. Be sure and check out the “Look Inside” function at Amazon.com to see the excellent and comprehensive material found in this book.

Both authors are experts in the topics they discuss, and reviews of their work are overwhelmingly positive. For instance, a typical review is as follows.

Absolutely amazing book for those that don’t yet have a good grip on nutrition matters. Its not just a “diet” but really shows how to change your lifestyle and eating habits. It includes about 100 recipes, about 30 of which I have used.

We highly recommend you check out their earlier book It Starts With Food: Discover the Whole30 and Change Your Life in Unexpected Ways, then make your own decision whether it would be a valuable resource to aid in your decision to live a healthy and productive lifestyle.

Start turning your hopes into happenings.

We are thrilled to share this information with you, but please understand it’s YOUR decision in determining what to do with the knowledge available. As always, it’s your mind that matters most.

Some diets have been advertised as the ultimate weight loss program, but then found to be not nearly as effective as initially claimed.

Other diets have stood the test of time and earned the reputation of effectiveness. Not all diets are easy diets, but your motivation and commitment can make anything successful.

Check out the diets we recommend and find one that appeals to you and the goals you have established for yourself.

Above and beyond all else, remember that success is firmly dependent on your energy and enthusiasm directd towards accomplishing extremely worthwhile goals.
