Why Not Get Better Service and Pay Less Today?
Likely you already use VOIP services of some sort or another. VOIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol, and is available on many smartphones and other Internet devices that are not phones.
Using these devices you can place voice calls or send SMS text messages. Some of these services, such as Skype, are closed networks that offer their services for free, simply by having the proper device and signing up for the service.
As landlines become used less and less, many people are signing up for online VOIP services which allow their phone calls to be placed over whatever Internet service they use in their homes.
Very likely, the day will soon be upon us where traditional land line phone will be replaced by VOIP services, and we will say, “remember when wires used to go into the wall.”
